The look of progress!
Each day Phil make sure that the job is getting done, he is our "general contractor" and we don't know what we would do without him!! Then there is Karl's work team. They are great to work all day, nice and hard on our beautiful new house. Huge progress is happening right now...can't wait for the next step...mud and taping and then...painting!! Are you ready for butter rum and pesto walls??

Electrical work has been done and the electricians did an amazing job. Now to wire the lighting and then the inspector can come visit our house and give the okay to sheetrock!!

Christopher Construction did a great job of backfilling and getting our driveway finished. You can drive down our driveway faster than 2 miles an hour. Now you can pull into the garage too. It is really coming together!!

The House is coming Along!

Hello! Sorry that I haven't written in a month...what a crazy month it has been! There has been a lot that has happened over the past week and a half! Phil is working extra hard and we owe him a lot for working on our house when Chris is working in town...couldn't do it without him! Here has what has been going on...more pictures to come when I download from Chris' camera.

Kenny bringing up water...soon after this Christopher Construction had to finish the job. There were too many rocks and tree roots in the way. The water is hooked up and ready to be turned on when we are ready in the house.

The lovely facia and sofit colors that I picked out. We plan on having a darker brown siding... when we get to it.

Laundry room plumbing done by my fantastic brother in law and father in law...they worked really hard on plumbing when Chad was in town.

Picture below shows the outlets for the kitchen. What a mess to router out the styrofoam to put in outlets. Phil did all of the upstairs routering before the electricians installed the boxes and wires...what a guy!!

A Lot Has Happened!!

Chad, Levi, and Ida have joined us for two weeks. There has been lots of work and even more play being done! We are truly enjoying them being here and glad that they could come for so long this summer. Levi and Addison are playing on the new stairs that were built by Chad, Phil and Chris. The house is really coming along!!

Upstairs patio door. The guys had help from Karl, Bill, Kenny, and Bob putting in the windows. They are great workers and very lucky they are working on our home!! Thanks guys!

My favorite window in the house because it has a beautiful view. Come visit to see the view for yourself, it is AMAZING!!
